Death Cafe

Date: Saturday, 05 November 2022 14:00

Venue: Plymouth Unitarian Church Hall

At a Death Cafe people gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death. Its objective is 'to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives'. The Death Cafe model was developed in this country by Jon Underwood and Sue Barsky Reid, based on the ideas of Bernard Crettaz.

We’re very pleased to be organising another, joint, Death Café with the Unitarians on Saturday 5th November from 14:00 to 16:00.  The venue will be the Unitarian Church hall, at the back of their building on Notte Street. There will be both Humanist and Unitarian facilitators there to help keep the conversations flowing.  All are welcome. Visit the Death Café website if you’d like to know more. This event is free, but a donation to cover the cost of the refreshments that are provided would be appreciated
