Walk around Warleigh Point Nature Reserve

Date: Sunday, 08 August 2021 11:00

Join us for a walk around Warleigh Point Nature Reserve, followed by a picnic (weather permitting).  Meet at the far end of Station Road in Tamerton Foliot, just before the bridge over the railway line, at 11:00 (there's room to park cars alongside the road).  After walking around the reserve, we'll have a picnic by the water or in a grassy glade.

Warleigh Point nature reserve is owned by Devon Wildlife Trust. The nature reserve's well-walked paths take you through woodland, dotted with ancient oaks, before giving great views of the Tamar-Tavy Estuaries and beyond into the rolling Cornish countryside.

Note that there are uneven paths and steps, so bring suitable footware. As anywhere in the countyside at this time of year, also be aware of ticks.
