Reprieve – campaigning against the death penalty

Date: Tuesday, 23 March 2021 19:30

Venue: Zoom

Reprieve is a charity that defends marginalised people who are facing human rights abuses, often at the hands of powerful governments. They challenge human rights abuses in the courts of law – in the UK and around the world.

Our speaker, Andalib Aziz, is South Asia Caseworker for Reprieve and specialises in human rights concerns surrounding the death penalty. She is going to talk to us about her work, which has a particular focus on the South Asia region and, more specifically, Pakistan.

All are welcome to attend.

This event will be run online over Zoom. Please register via the Eventbrite link below and you will be emailed a link to the meeting a couple of days beforehand.
