Apologies for the lack of updates, but we’ve been very active in 2026. Our last (and very well attended) talk at the B-Bar was from Dr Gustav Kuhn who looked at what magic tricks can tell us about human perception and its flaws. We switched to the University for our April, May and April talks, where we learned about juries from Luke Fisher, climate change from Sir Ghillean Prance (a very well attended talk despite our first heatwave of the year) and the importance of and upcoming changes to RE in schools from Ed Pawson.
We had two very enjoyable walks, one from Wembury to Plymouth and another from Polperro to Looe, a Sunday Brunch and a visit to Cornwall Humanists in Truro.
