Conservation Walk April '16

A dreadful weather forecast put off all but Joe and Tim from this month’s conservation walk, but in the end the rain held off, even if it was a bit breezy.

The reserve was showing signs of spring, with the first Bluebells and Wood Anemones coming into flower and the birds singing.  Several bags of rubbish were collected – although the wood was generally very tidy, the lack of vegetation revealed some long hidden rubbish and there was the usual plastic washed up by the tides around the strand line.
