December Conservation Walk

Only regulars Joe and Tim were available for December’s littering pick at Warleigh Point.  That wasn’t a problem, though, as with all the leaves down from the trees and carpeting the ground, and fewer visitors at this time of year, there was little rubbish to be found.

Just a bag and a half was collected, but it was good to see the reserve so free of the junk which, even in small amounts, jars with such a lovely natural environment.  The morning finished with an unexpected debate on the merits of species reintroduction with a local birdwatcher!
