Humanists at Plymouth Respect Festival 2013

After a break in 2012, Plymouth Respect Festival was back in October 2013, and Plymouth Humanists took part.

Now based in the University, the festival aims to promote respect and celebrate diversity across all areas of the community.  As such, it was an ideal opportunity for Plymouth Humanists to promote the activities of the group and inform the wider public about Humanism.  We hired a stand for the full two days of the festival, and volunteers kept it staffed at all times.  It proved a great way of engaging with visitors to the festival and networkworking with likeminded organisations.
