First Discussion Group Meeting

For some time a number of our members have been keen for us to start a discussion group, and in August we finally got around to organising one.  We held it at the Devonport Park Pavilions Café, which proved to be an ideal venue. Sixteen people took part and we discussed two topics  - ‘Assisted Dying’ and ‘How far should we embrace modern technology’.  Two hours shot past and we could easily have gone on longer. We hope to arrange another group meeting in the not too distant future.  Thanks go in particular to Priscilla and Rob for their support and for arranging the venue.
